What is a CLC (Certified Lactation Counselor) /CLCs at Autumn Oak

The lactation counselors at Autumn Oak are health professionals who provide breastfeeding support, have completed 52 hours of lactation education, and passed the Academy of Lactation Policy and Practice certification exam. The goal of a CLC is to support pregnant or breastfeeding women, educate about breastfeeding, advocate for the rights of breastfeeding women, and counsel prenatal, breastfeeding, and postpartum women during their journeys.
