Alexandra, Speech Language Pathologist Assistant

Hey, yall! I’m Ali, a Louisiana transplant living in the Houston area with my husband. We made the move two years ago and have been loving every minute of it! When I’m not working as a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant, you can find me trying out new restaurants, watching the latest movies, sipping coffee at a cozy coffee shop, or planning a weekend getaway with my husband.

With almost 2 years of experience in the field, I’ve had the joy of working with children from diverse backgrounds and age groups, from toddlers to school-age kids. My approach is centered around creating a playful and nurturing environment that fosters creativity, imagination, and most importantly, fun! Through play therapy, I help children develop essential communication skills like language, social skills, and problem solving, all while building confidence and self-esteem. I’m constantly inspired by the creativity and resilience of my young patients, and I’m honored to be a part of their journey towards effective communication and connection. Let’s play, learn, and grow together!

“Autumn Oak offers me the privilege of professional growth and the joy of meaningful connections. It’s a nurturing environment where I can flourish as a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant, while also forming lasting bonds with my patients and their families, and that’s the greatest reward of all.”

Olivia, Speech Language Pathologist Assistant

Howdy y’all! My name is Olivia, I’m a born and raised Texan. Staying true to my roots in Houston, I chose to stay and attend college here in the city where I graduated from the University of Houston with my bachelor’s degree in communication sciences and Disorders. Before entering the world of speech, I had the awesome opportunity to work as a registered behavior technician at an ABA therapy center. This experience taught me, not only how to help children with their behavior needs but also how to connect with each child individually. Since entering this field, I’ve worked in the public school setting as well as in private practice providing speech therapy services to children. I have enjoyed working with children of all ages but what I’ve enjoyed the most is building individual connections and seeing their growth. When I’m not working as a speech language pathologist assistant I enjoy volunteering at my church in the children’s ministry, making different crafts, spending time with my family and friends, or reading a good book.
